Painter, Printmaker, and Artist.
Margaret Hodge is an artist from Gainesville, Florida, and is currently based in the Washington D.C. area.
Currently a Dean’s Award, Corcoran Quasi Endowment Award, and Morris Lewis Student Endowment Award recipient at the George Washington University Columbian College of Arts and Sciences, and formerly a Presidential Scholar and Honors student in the Arts at Wake Forest University; her studies in political science and studio art have taken her across North and South America, as well as Europe.
Hodge’s work focuses on storytelling through Cubo-Futurism and Russo-Constructivism, using fragmented forms and contrasting values to explore complex narratives.
Her paintings, prints, and drawings invite viewers to engage with themes of history, time, and movement. By sparking conversations through her art, Hodge encourages reflection on personal and collective identity, highlighting the power of visual storytelling.
